Booking & Deposits

To secure your wedding date, we require:

  • A signed booking agreement or written confirmation of these terms.
  • A non-refundable booking deposit (typically 25–50% of the total package fee, confirmed in your bespoke proposal).

Your date is not confirmed until both the signed agreement and the deposit have been received. We accept only a limited number of weddings per year, and dates are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

— 03

Payment Terms

The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your wedding date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments can be made via bank transfer to the account details provided on your invoice.

We reserve the right to withhold delivery of your final films until all outstanding balances have been paid in full. Late payments may incur additional charges at our discretion.

— 04

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel your booking, the following applies:

  • Your booking deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Cancellations made more than 90 days before your wedding date: no additional charge beyond the retained deposit.
  • Cancellations made between 30 and 90 days before your wedding date: 50% of the total package fee is payable.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of your wedding date: 100% of the total package fee is payable.

If you wish to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate you subject to availability. One free reschedule is permitted with at least 60 days' notice; further changes may incur an admin fee.

— 06

Your Responsibilities

By booking with us, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate details about your wedding, including venue, timings, and key contacts.
  • Inform us of any restrictions imposed by the venue (e.g. no drone use, no filming during ceremony).
  • Ensure our team has reasonable access to the venue, appropriate light levels for filming, and a designated space to set up equipment.

Copyright & Usage Rights

Copyright of all footage — raw and edited — remains with The Main Shot / No Name Digital LTD at all times.

You are granted a personal, non-commercial licence to use your delivered films for private viewing, sharing with family and friends, and posting on your personal social media accounts.

We retain the right to use your wedding footage (both raw and edited) for our own marketing purposes, including our website, social media, showreels, competitions, and advertising. If you would prefer not to feature in our marketing, please let us know in writing before your wedding day, and we will do our best to respect your wishes.

Neither party may sell, sublicence, or commercially exploit the footage without prior written agreement from the other.

— 08

Delivery & Revisions

Delivery timeframes are guidelines rather than fixed guarantees, and may vary depending on wedding season and studio workload. Our typical turnaround times are:

  • Highlight trailer: 4–8 weeks after your wedding.
  • Full-length film: 12–20 weeks after your wedding.

Films are delivered via a personalised download link. You will have the opportunity to request one round of reasonable revisions to the edit within 12 weeks of the delivery date. Requests outside of this window, or requests for major structural re-edits, may incur additional charges.

Revisions are subject to the availability of raw footage — see clause 09 (Retention of Footage) below.

— 09

Retention of Footage

Raw footage is retained for up to 12 weeks from first delivery to allow for revisions, after which it may be permanently deleted.

— 10

Travel & Additional Costs

Travel within the M25 (Greater London) is included in every package as standard.

Weddings outside the M25 may incur a small travel fee, which will be confirmed in writing in your bespoke proposal before you book. This covers fuel, parking, and where applicable, overnight accommodation for early starts or late finishes.

Any agreed additional costs (e.g. extra hours on the day, additional videographers, upgraded packages) will be invoiced separately and are payable in accordance with clause 03.

— 11

Liability

We will always do our very best to deliver your wedding films to the highest possible standard. However, in the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, injury, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control that affect our ability to capture or deliver footage, our maximum liability will be limited to a refund of the fees paid to us for the affected services.

We will not be liable for indirect, consequential, or emotional damages, or for footage that cannot be captured due to venue restrictions, guest interference, or other third-party actions outside of our control.

— 12

Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for failure to perform their obligations under this agreement due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, pandemics, natural disasters, government restrictions, acts of terrorism, or civil unrest.

In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule your booking to a mutually acceptable alternative date, subject to availability.

— 13

Complaints

If you're unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us at info@themainshot.com as soon as possible. We take all feedback seriously and will do our best to resolve any concerns fairly and promptly.

— 14

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
